Self-financing

The rate of down payment may differ for different credit institutions and is dependent on additional conditions. AmCredit generally disburses housing loans on the condition of down payment of 10-35%. If the amount of self-financing is smaller, additional collateral may be used and therefore the customer need not provide any additonal monetary financing.

The down payment affects every choice you make when you choose for a mortgage. When you get ready to buy your home, the first thing you should figure out is how much money you have saved for purchase.

Usually banks finance 80 - 90% of the property value, the rest should be paid by the owner himself. Accordingly, banks can clear up your paying capacity in the future.
